COMMUNITY OF AGRI-FOOD TECHNOLOGIES AND PRODUCTION
The Community of Agrifood Technologies and Production (COTPA)directs its strategy towards the sector fo agri-food prodcution and tecnhlogy, with the main purpose of promoting innovation and the use of new technologies, as valuable tools for transforming the sector.
Cooperation between agri-food stakeholders allows to reach relevant contributions in terms of innovation and available knowledge. Approaching positions among agri-food companies and technology centers - which have available technologies with a great potential to innovate in production processes - is the first step to start this specialization process.
COTPA is committed to achieve a Sustainable Agroalimentary Intensification, through implementation of new and current technologies in the agri-food sector, which will guarantee the transformation and specialization of the productive sector and, at the same time, an increase of its competitiveness within the European environment.
